System components within the Service Engineering group

focusing on resolution of technical issues with production

and fielded aircraft. Lead the efforts to develop and

improve troubleshooting information within the Fault

Isolation Manual for Mechanical Systems. Analyze data from

the E500 Data Storage Unit to define aircraft

troubleshooting and define opportunities for system

reliability improvements. Evaluate field feedback regarding

system improvements and lead changes into production or

back through the component supplier, through core

engineering, as necessary. Lead efforts into defining and

developing aircraft service bulletins, service letters, and

other engineering directives. Preformed CM by addressing

Engineering Change Documentation, such as: Engineering

proprietary programs

07/01 - 05/05 Sr. Systems Engineer I, Raytheon, Tucson, AZ.

Worked with the Internal Research and Development (IRAD)

team we used Six Sigma techniques to establish the CONOPS

for In Flight Rapid Retargeting (IFR2) of Raytheon missiles

(i.e., all variants of JSOW, and Tactical Tomahawk) as it

pertains to the Command, Control, Communications, Computer,

Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR)

architecture.

Provided technical support and analysis for PMA-280 in

support of the Tomahawk missile (i.e., research,

simulations, analysis and reports). Also, served as Deputy

Lead/Technical Advisor to the AUR Performance IPT, Customer

Acceptance Readiness Review (CARR) board secretary for the

Tomahawk Flight/Ground Testing, and Work Group

Administrator by proving data base administration for the

entire AUR-SEIA team.

. Assisted Program Managers/Senior Engineers in technical

evaluations of SOW to save the program money by

developing process plans to complete

Simulations/Analysis in support of Tomahawk missile

implementations, modification, operations of

fixed/motion base test simulations to be used in actual

flight test/operations.

o Saved the program time and money by conducting a

Tomahawk/ SSN-688 Pitch Attitude & Increased TTL

Launch Velocity Study. Simulated thousands of

input decks for the tomahawk/ssn-688 study to make

sure that the pitch limits that were to be used

would not change launch limit operations.

. 106 Mod 1 RMA Comparison

o Simulated nominal MK 106 & MK 135 rocket motors at

various degrees to compare previous JCM-1972

Computer program performance Specification (PPS)

Results to determine if the Block III tomahawk

would require any software changes by changing

rocket motors.

. Bladder Weight Changes for the UC1 missile for 688 TT

Launch.

o Performed POSL analysis on the new heavier fuel

bladder in support of the fleet launch guidance.

. SEAWOLF launch prediction of Operational Test Launch

o Sea-wolf launch prediction with real ships data

was compared to actual OTL times (i.e., first

motion of rocket in the tube, Lanyard Switch

Actuation (LSA), etc.) which was reported to the

fleet.

. Possibility of Successful Launch (POSL) support- Dud

Missile Study

o Identified focus of analysis of the fallback study

to define the SOW.

o Conducted CM6DOF simulation according to the SOW

to determine the effect of "dud" missile ejected

at nominal and low velocity ejections to determine

the safety measures that are implemented on

submarine launches.

. Ejector/Separator performance study

o Service life assessment performance (SLAP) test

observed a deterioration of performance in the

109D ejector velocities. I assessed the affect

this had on system performance using a 4DOF

Submunition simulation by re-hosting and operating

this tool.

. Participated in monthly IPT meetings and developed

monthly status reports which were deliverables to the

customer as the deputy lead.

. Presented progress briefings for AUR Performance IPT

quarterly PMR meetings which consisted of the

customer/captain and the entire Tomahawk team which

consisted of approximately 100 engineers and government

employees.

. Gave presentations to the Customer Acceptance Readiness

Review board as secretary and technical lead in support

of all flight and ground test for both the Block III and

Tac-Tomahawk missiles.

. Worked on EKV's (Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle)

Verification & Validation program as an Analyst/System

Engineer.
