Responsible for construction support, field engineering changes, and
commissioning in connection with a new chemical transfer facility in
Geismar, LA. Project involves installing Invensys FOXBORO DCS and Siemens
SIS combining various communication protocols including AS-i bus, Modbus
and FTE. Based on-site, responsible for providing day to day engineering
support to Instrument/Electrical construction contractor building state of
the art truck, rail and barge chemical transfer complex. Duties also
include quality review and turnover of instrument data files.
Instrument / Electrical Field Engineer/ Commissioning Lead Ford Bacon &
Davis LLC Baton Rouge, LA, 10/05-02/08
Commissioning Lead on Shell Global Solutions PAPA project in Port Allen,
LA. Project involved grassroots facility producing precipitated alumina.
Responsible for field construction support involving Yokogawa DCS control
system based on Foundation Fieldbus. Duties included AS-i Bus and
Foundation Fieldbus segment testing and commissioning. Implemented RIE
field design changes, VFD checkout, and UPS system installation.
Responsible for the supervision of 12 people performing FCO. Field Engineer
provided E&I engineering support to construction management firm at Giant's
Yorktown Virginia refinery. Project involved fast track fire rebuild effort
centered on 3D model. Duties entailed scope definition, assessment of E&I
contractor progress and resolution of field design change notices .Worked
as instrument field coordinator in conjunction with expansion proposal at
Big West Refinery in Bakersfield California. Duties involved site survey,
P&ID development, preliminary motor list, Honeywell Experion RIE
development and preliminary hardware estimates. Field Engineer provided
construction support at Williams Refinery in Wynnewood, Okalahoma in
connection with a fire rebuild of a Hydrofluoric Alkylation unit.

addition of a black Santoprene and Vyram Thermoplastic Vulcanizates
production facility at ExxonMobil's AES Pensacola complex. Project involved
installing Emerson Delta V DCS supporting Foundation Fieldbus, AS-i bus and
EtherNet IP modular wiring systems.
Start-up Engineer Amgen Pharmaceutical West Greenwich, Rhode Island 7/03-

Job entailed providing technical support and start-up assistance for clean
utilities at Amgen's West Greenwich Enbrel production facility. System
responsibilities include USPW, ECDI, WFI, SCADA, and Ozone production.
Duties included directing personnel in connection with systems
modifications, providing design change field sketches, complete functional
checkout, commissioning and system validation. Attended Delta V training
and gained hands on experience with Fieldbus technology during start-up and
commissioning. Responsible for developing E/I as-builts of clean utility
control systems.

Responsible for detail design package for Dehyrogenation unit in connection
with Styrene plant de-bottleneck. Primary assignment was burner controls
conversion from hardwired relay logic to redundant Allen Bradley
ControlLogix platform. Flame detection system based on Honeywell 7838
burner controllers and entire control scheme was NFPA 86 compliant.
Responsible for P&ID development, control panel layout, wiring and heater
ESD matrices.
