> Designed and implemented safety/environmental program for 100+ year
old paint manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, FL. Facility was
able to achieve OSHA and Florida Department of Environmental
Protection (FDEP) compliance.
> Developed and presented OSHA Hazardous Waste Coordinators training for
the US Navy, Jacksonville, FL, under multi-year contract.
> Generated over $100K in savings for a chemical manufacturing facility
in Georgia by streamlining the design and installation of a
groundwater remediation system.
> Negotiated an alternative wetlands mitigation plan with United States
Army Corps of Engineers (USACOE) for green-field manufacturing
facility which resulted in over $150K in savings and faster USACOE
approval.
> Negotiated risk based closure for metal plating facility in GA,
allowing for the sale of the facility.
> Performed site investigation and characterization which allowed for
the negotiation with FDEP to remove chlorinated solvent contaminated
property from potential source list.
> Prepared first RCRA closure permit in the FDEP Northeast District.
> Designed new WWT system for battery manufacturing facility and showed,
by return on investment evaluation, that the new system would pay for
itself in less than two years. Directed removal of old system and
installation of new system.
> Designed a cost effective sand processing method for existing sand and
gravel operation utilizing new technologies which resulted in long
term reduction of operating costs. Oversight of MSHA Safety Program,
including guarding and PPE.
> Met with EPA (Washington DC) as a consultant to the Swedish Trade
Council to discuss the use of new technologies to sequester mercury
stored in the US national stock pile.

Foley Materials Company 2006-2008, Columbus, GA
Operations Manager - Directed all phases of operations for six sand and
gravel mines in Alabama and Georgia. Developed multi-million dollar annual
budgets and capital expenditure plans for each facility. Developed sales

mechanisms to determine company profit and loss as well as long-range

Environmental Resources Management, Inc. (ERM) 1997 - 1998, Columbus, GA
Office Manager - Opened the Columbus, GA, office as an extension of the
regional office in Kennesaw, GA. Developed marketing strategies for the
southwestern Georgia and the southeastern Alabama regions. Managed and
coordinate technical staff from other southeastern offices to ensure that
environmental projects were completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Program Manager - Program Manager duties included financial management,
direction of proposal preparation and presentation, senior technical
review, and client liaison for all Waste Management projects in north
Florida. Acted as one of several key RUST liaisons with Waste Management.
Responsibilities also included the technical direction of selected
environmental projects involving industrial compliance, health and safety,
solid and/or hazardous waste and petroleum contamination assessment and
remediation projects. Activities also include RCRA training for the US
Navy (Hazardous Waste Coordinators Course) and industry. Other duties
included the supervision and training of scientists, engineers, and field
technicians. Acted as a Site Health & Safety Officer for numerous projects
ensuring OSHA requirements were followed.
Virogroup, Inc., Missimer Division, 1990 - 1993, Jacksonville, FL
Project Manager - Prepared Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments
as well as RCRA Permits. Project management duties include project
planning, budget analysis and proposal preparation. This information was
used for the implementation and direction of numerous projects ranging from
hydrogeologic assessments to contamination assessments. These projects
involved lithologies ranging from unconsolidated surfical sediments to
consolidated and semi-consolidated limestone aquifers. Accurate and concise
information was compiled and presented to client and/or regulatory agencies
as a final report. Other duties include the supervision and training of
entry-level scientists and engineers, and field technicians in the
