Job Description: Hospital Corpsman/administrator 2003-2010
Medically treated and aided Doctors in over 500 different medical
diagnosis' and procedures in the past 6.5 years while serving in the Navy.
While serving in the Battalion Medical Aid Station in Afghanistan under the
supervision of a Doctor, I was part of a medical triage unit that cared for
over 3,000 wounded Marines.
6 years of clinical wound care experience, soft tissue, and benign abscess
drainage procedures performed on a daily basis in the Battalion Aid Station
in Hawaii.
Managed and ordered supplies to over 13 different military installations on
a monthly basis.
I had to perform clinical medical procedures such as suture removals,
injections, EKG's, casting and splinting.
Ability to handle and operate complex medical machinery on a daily basis.
2004-2005 had the responsibility of ordering over 2,000 supplies for the
3rd Marine Battalion Aid Station.
Worked in the Naval Administration department for 11 months prior to being
honorably discharged in March 5, 2010.
Phlebotomy at Naval Hospital Jacksonville from 2008-2009..
Experienced with "butterfly" needles other forms of venipunture techniques.
