CAREER OBJECTIVE

Outside Sales position, calling on industrial and OEM clients.

SKILLS, CAPABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS

Strong "business sense" coupled with "strong sales and relationship

building skills". Extensive experience selling to engineers, reading

blueprints/drawings. Very knowledgeable of both the Manufacturing and

SIGNIFICANT ACHEIVMENTS

Grew my territory from 350K in sales to 1.2M in a 6 year period. (Note,

next largest sales territory for entire company was 750K). Accomplished

the growth by adding to the existing customer base and by cold calling

targeted new customers. Sought out customers with large potential and

concentrated on them.

Initiated a pump repair program that generated over 50k in new sales.

This account was one that Anchor Rubber targeted from the very first day I

was there. I set up a pump repair program that both replaced a maintenance

person and not only got us repair pump business but converted the

customer's pump purchases to the one Anchor Rubber handled.

Developed relationships with 2 engineered molding companies that allowed

Anchor Rubber Co. to increase sales over 1M. When I first started at

Anchor they bought from a couple molding companies. Their prices were high

and they offered very little engineering support. I started to do more

with molded products and searched for companies that were able to give us

the technical support we needed and wanted to partner with Anchor to look

for more opportunities. They held sales seminars, made joint calls with

our sales people and the 3 divisions of Anchor increased sales with these

products with both their current customer base and were able to open new

customers.

Created a "recycling" program that increased margins on existing business

by over 30%, based on annual sales of 53K. I developed a program of having

the urethane "stripped" from machined aluminum plates and re-using the

plates. Originally the plates cost $550.00, resale $700.00 and the

recycled plates cost $125.00 resale $450.00

Designed a conveyor system that both gave my company short term exclusivity

and generated 150K in sales in a one year period. I partnered with a

conveyor company to design a conveyor concept for a customer. The

customers were expanding and the conceptual design of the conveyor system

only allowed me to quote on the belts. We changed the design to a high

precision easy maintenance conveyor that required molded head and tail

pulleys. We were rewarded all the conveyors, (approximately 90). The

design was carried over to the older part of the plant with an additional

30 conveyors that same year.

Managed one of Anchor Rubbers largest account. After just 2 years I was

giving the region's largest account to manage, 3rd largest account for the

entire company. Gross sales of over 750K. (Note, this

amount was not included in the amount that I grew my territory).

Started a Manufactures Rep. and Distribution Company. Represented

Companies that specialized in engineered molded rubber and urethane,

conveying and power transmission. Increased sales to generate an income of

initially 40k to over 90k annually.

Outside sales position. Increased sales from 350K to over 1.2M. Number 1

salesperson for the last 7 years. Customer base was manufacturers.
