Supplier Quality Engineer
( Track customer complaints in an Access Database in various stages of
completion from investigation, planning, implementation,
verification and closure
( Revise documents and submit changes to the Document Control
Department to have documents revised as required for a countermeasure to
a customer complaint.
( Request corrective actions and countermeasures from suppliers,
review, accept or reject countermeasures and submit countermeasure to
customer
( Perform monthly supplier ratings on nearly 100 suppliers, including
outsourcing, assembly and purchase suppliers
( Arrange QIP's (Quality Improvement Presentations) by suppliers if
their supplier rating drops below a certain percentage
. Assist with supplier selection by utilizing quality tools to
evaluate potential new suppliers
