Created a Greenfield manufacturing facility with sales of >$250M. Supplied

OEM and aftermarket product to a worldwide customer base.

. Directly Managed Manuf., Quality, Supply Chain, Materials, Engineering,

Maint. & HR departments

. Created the benchmark manufacturing facility for the industry with total

non direct material costs at approx. 8%. This was accomplished by

reducing direct costs year over year by 5-7%.

o Productivity was increased 7-15% annually by utilizing lean manufacturing

techniques and the implementation of TPS/DMS.

o Predictive/Preventive Maintenance was implemented to reduce unplanned

downtime.

. Direct Material cost was reduced from approx. 91% to approx. 88% by

engaging our employees, suppliers and customers to drive out waste

through kaizen workshops.

o Overall plant scrap was 0.002% and shrinkage of +/-10k on daily inventory

of approx. $3M

o Our facility developed a Supplier Development based Purchasing System

which engaged every supplier to minimize waste and actively seek cost

reductions.

. The Columbia, Tn. Facility had 100% on-time delivery from 2001 through

2008. Our on-site IT/Engineering team developed Toyota/Saturn exclusive

sequencing system.

o No failures (missed ship windows) in 7 years of operation. This was

accomplished by a rigorous use of PFMEA and Line Side Reviews.

. We created a Zero defect system based on DFMEA & PMFEA. Our facility

had the lowest PPM of all GM Tier 1 suppliers from 2003-2008.

o 2-3 PPM from 2005-08

o Awarded Delphi Platinum Quality Award 2002-03, 2005-2008

o Awarded Delphi Gold Quality Award 2001, 2004

. The Delphi Columbia facility was the benchmark for heavy assembly in

North America. Our H&S team adopted the PFMEA system for safety, an

industry first.

Program Manager - Dayton, Ohio 1998-2000

Created business case and implemented new Greenfield facility in Saltillo,
