Gulf LNG re-gasification project:
Worked as a supervising discipline engineer, responsible for the successful
completion of electrical & control design and engineering on this $700
million EPC project. Management responsibilities included developing
project schedule, assigning resources, controlling schedule, controlling
cost, ensuring quality of deliverables, communicating with client and
vendors, progress reporting, managed procurements and subcontracts.
Technical responsibilities included guiding and reviewing engineering and
design deliverables such as equipment sizing calculations, equipment
specifications, equipment layout drawings, detailed installation drawings,
creating and reviewing procurement packages, technical and commercial bid
analysis, co-ordination and expediting inter-disciplinary and vendor/sub-

electrical equipment. Preparation of purchase specification, 3 D modeling,
routing of piping and cable trays. Develop process logics, electrical
schematics and vendor drawing review.
Dallman Unit 4, CWLP, Springfield, IL
A 208-MW pulverized coal power plant, is one of the cleanest coal-fired
generating units in the nation. Design and detail engineering of air
quality control system, which involved 3 D modeling, developing process
logics, vendor drawing review and equipment sizing calculation and purchase
specification.
Costa Azul LNG Re-gasification Project, Sempra Energy, Mexico
Managed design and engineering work, which included design of plant
lighting and communication system, PDS modelling of electrical equipment
and raceway system. Cable sizing calculations, short circuit and load flow
studies, relay setting calculations and relay coordination studies etc.
Bhilai Power Plant, NSPCL, Bhilai, India
A 2 x 250 MW Power Project, performed the role of Owner's engineer.
Coordinated design, engineering and construction efforts of various
contractors. Reviewed and approved purchase specifications, monitored and
reported progress to the owner.

SCIP Caojing Power Plant, Shanghai, Peoples Republic of China
A combined cycle cogeneration power plant project using GE-9FA turbines,
with complex project requirements to meet ANSI, IEEE, IEC and GB standards
with locally(China) manufactured equipment, coordinate design and
engineering efforts at various locations(Kansas City, Bangkok and
Shanghai), communicate with client and partner (GE), and support the
project engineer in project scheduling and control.
Prepared sizing calculations for Generator Step-Up and Unit Auxiliary
Transformers, Battery and Battery Chargers, and UPS Systems, etc.; prepared
load flow, short circuit and motor starting studies using ETAP; prepared
the following one-line diagrams: overall one lines, medium and low voltage
switchgear, motor control center, DC and UPS systems, DC and AC power panel
diagrams; contract administration, i.e., prepare and mange the following
specifications: Generator Step-Up Transformers, Unit Auxiliary and Station

AEP Kyger Creek PRB Coal Conversion Project, Ohio 2005
Modified the auxiliary electric system of the existing coal handling system
in the coal power plant. Sized, specified and managed contracts for major
electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MCC etc.
Communicated with the client and vendors, coordinated engineering with
other disciplines, and supported the project engineer in project scheduling
and control.

Lungmen Nuclear Power Project, Taiwan Power Company, Taipei, Taiwan
Prepared calculations to size current transformers for medium and low
voltage systems. Designed 120V power distribution system for utility power
supply. This included over 500 circuits and complex segregation
requirements. The design included panel board drawings, circuits and
database entry. Coordinated various task assignments with B&V Bangkok
office. Verified electrical data for various systems through extensive use
of Powertrak.
Proposal Engineer
Lead Proposal Engineer-provided conceptual / preliminary / definitive
proposals for various new power facilities including simple and combined
cycle units, and pulverized coal facilities; as well as retrofit and
cogeneration facilities. Performed conceptual and front end design and
feasibility studies.

Sincor Sulfur Complex, Jose, Venezuela
Worked as Lead Electrical Engineer for the design and detail engineering of
Electrical System for the Sulfur Complex complying with IEC standards.
Sized, prepared the requisition and purchase specification for the
following major equipment 34.5 kV/6.9 kV transformer, 6.6 kV switchgear,
6.6 kV/480 V transformer, 460 V switchgear, Variable Frequency Drives, UPS,
battery and charger and cathodic protection. Designed and engineered a PLC
system for Electrical monitoring and control (EMCS). Performed an extensive
coordination of work between the owner, lead contractor (Technip), detail
engineering center in Venezuela (Jantessa) and the various sub-contractors.
TDI Project, Bayer, Bay Town, TX
Designed for Bayer, complete electrical system for the TDI project which
included Area Classification, Load analysis and short circuit calculations
using ETAP. The major equipment involved 480 V MCC and UPS.

Design, Engineering & order handling of substation projects for various
industries, which include preparation of SLD, sizing of equipment like
Transformers, selection of equipment like Circuit Breakers, Isolators,
Control & Relay Panel, CT, PT etc. Preparation of equipment layout, cable
scheduling and routing. Design of Capacitor Banks and Harmonic filters for

filter banks. Conducted the Harmonic studies to design the filter banks.

Relay Coordination study for ICI Limited, Kanpur, India:
Conducted the Relay co-ordination studies and relay setting calculations
for this fertiliser plant, which minimised the Plant shut downs and
resulted in increased productivity.
