Tooling Engineer: Responsible to the Vice President of

Manufacturing for providing expertise to the upfront business

development group for BMW and John Deere tooling and stampings.

. Updated all APQP documents, timelines, engineering notices,

ISIR's, PPAP's, and all other necessary paperwork.

. Solved problem on simulations of draw dies involving material

selection, design of parts, and splitting issues.

. Participated in cost reductions to help reach customer

demands for improved costing and performance.

. Chosen to participate on special John Deere / SSP team to

help SSP gain partner level with 3 John Deere Divisions.

hit tooling, and 3 transfer presses ranging from 1200 to 2400

tons. Reviewed charting of all pressroom activities for

utilization, capacities, and efficiencies. Responded with

action plans.

. Tracked and monitored parts quality: QS9000 - 3rd edition,

SPC, control charts, process sheets, routing tags, and

blueprints.

. Participated in weekly customer complaint, material review,

quality review, PPAP, operation, and pit meetings.
