PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
Chief Design Engineer of a group of five students, in the design and
manufacturing of a shifter kart controls for paraplegic people. Process
involved re-engineering, Design for Manufacturability, Design for
Machining, CAD/CAM, Design for Assembly, Design for Quality and
Reliability, Design to Cost, and Design for Environment were some of the
considerations that were involved during the process. The Design process
also involves ergo-dynamics and aesthetic looks.
