08/00 - 01/09: Inventory Management Senior Manger:
Program managed global inventory reduction and optimization initiatives.
Included balancing inventory with margin improvements and 95% on-time
delivery performance. Review inventory balances for revenue opportunities
by performing inventory aging analysis, excess and obsolete analysis, and
driving re-deployment opportunities. Provide monthly executive analysis
including results, forecasts with identification of risks and
opportunities. Identify and drive key reduction initiatives and make
policy and process improvements.
Key Accomplishments:
. Drove $5 Billion in inventory reduction over the past 8 years.
. Improved Turn Over Ratio (TOR) from 2 TOR to a high of 8 TOR.
. Drove the conversion of business strategy from "Made to Stock" to
"Made to Order" which improved "Cash Flow" and delayed the
expenditures.
. Developed a reverse Supply Chain process that produced redeployment
opportunities of greater than $30M.
. Developed a process (Tool) to identify $50M of product to present to
the sales team as opportunities and drove sales of $10M.
. Sold over $10M of surplus material on the secondary market
03/99 - 08/00: Engineering Change Management and Inv. Mgr:
Led a Global team of engineers and professional associates responsible for
the maintenance
of Bill of Material (BOM), Change Management Process, Phase In Phase Out
(PIPO) and
Outsourcing for the circuit packs at the Columbus facilities. Additional
responsibilities
included driving decisions to ensure that product changes did not
negatively impact the
ability to meet customer demands, development of a global Wireless Network
Group (WNG)
inventory management process for Outsourcing, Transfer and Change
Management, program
management of inventory reduction for all (WNG) supply nodes and
establishing and meeting
budget goals for the organization.
Key Accomplishments:
. Developed a Cross Functional Team (CFT) that drove stranded material
costs associated with product changes to only 28% of the original
identified costs.
. BOM interval was 2.5 days against a goal of 4 days, and 98% accuracy
against a 95% accuracy goal.
. Drove the implementation of the first clerical High Performance Team.
. Defined and documented the Outsourcing and Transfer process for all of
WNG.
. Drove cash flow improvement of $32M associated with the sale of
circuit packs outsourcing kits and surplus materials sold to Contract
Manufacturers
08/97 - 03/99: NWS Engineering and Manufacturing Manager:
Managed a staff of 4 engineers, 7 supervisors and 300+ production
associates for the
manufacturing of Printed Wiring Boards(PWB)/Circuit Packs. Performed
evaluations, salary
administration, hiring, disciplinary action and professional and personal
development. Performed production capability analysis and drove production
schedule to support 90% On-Time delivery metric. Responsible for quality
performance such as product first test yield, overall quality grades and
process improvements. Performed repair and servicing functions for
warranty and customer owned products. Responsible for process flow and all
process engineering related duties.
Key Accomplishments:
. Delivery performance was 90% on time and my budget was $300k under
budget.
. First Test Yields were 95% against a goal of 93%.
. Chaired the Quality Line Team and led a team that won third place at
the National Association for Quality and Participation (AQP) Team
Competition for PWB process improvement.

05/94 - 08/97: Human Resources Manager:
Managed a staff of 7 Internal Professional Instructors and a host of
external programs.

Columbus facility (6200 Employees). Developed curriculums and course

location. Managed the budget for all training needs at the Columbus
facility. (Manufacturing and Research & Development). Served as

Resolved EO complaints from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
