Remodels, New home.. Flooring, space planning, paint, furniture,countertops,
ETC.
Split Rock Design Center-September 2007-December 2007
Interior Designer - Responsible for all decisions from architecture to
closing.
All interior and exterior decision including furniture.
(I was laid off with half the construction team.)
West Coast Design 2001-2005-rehire February 2006-Augest 2007
Worked as a independent designer.
Rehired as showroom manger -responsible working mainly with custom home
buyers, venders p.o.
Hiring subs etc.
Ence Homes Design Center- March 2005- February 2006
Pre-Construction Design Coordinator (Nevada division). Responsible for all
models, design center, production and custom homes in Mesquite Nevada.
Main responsibilities include guiding home buyers through the option
selection process including red lining blue prints, dry wall texture,
exterior and interior paint colors, electrical, concrete, countertops,
flooring, appliances, cabinet layouts and many more option. Work closely
with buyer, and project manager to insure proper installation of all
aspects of building and maintain company schedules. Work with sales on all
new models. Review selections, pricing and placement of all standards and
options. Work with purchasing to insure proper pricing and standard
specifications are current.
William Lyon Home Design Center- May 2002 to February 2004
Senior Designer. My duties were to meet with new homebuyers to select their
flooring, counter tops and to assist with window coverings selections. In
addition I scheduled flooring with superintendents and responsible for
P.O.'s
Dupont Residential Flooring- May 2001 to May 2002
Starting as lead designer. My job was to deal with multiple homebuilders,
assist buyers in floor coverings, counter tops and bath surround choices.
Also assisted in teaching and instructing other designers on custom homes.
Christopher Homes Design Center- February 1999 to May 2001
Promoted to Senior Designer in May 2000. Responsible for all model
complexes, design centers and custom homes to include Lake Las Vegas,
Southern Highlands and Bellecare. Supervise four designers. Main
responsibilities include guiding custom home clients through the option
selection process including electrical, concrete, crown molding,
countertops and flooring, appliance and cabinet layouts. Work closely with
buyer, superintendent and project manager to insure proper installation of
all aspects of building and maintain company schedules. Work with marketing
and sales on all new model complexes and design center. Review selections,
pricing and placement of all standards and options. Work with purchasing to
insure proper pricing and standard specifications are current.
Beazer Homes Design Center- July 1998 to February 1999 ( moved to
Christopher home with my manager)
Assisted new home buyers in selecting all interior finishes, which include:
paint, lighting, appliances plumbing, cabinets, flooring, window coverings,
and countertops. Distribute all paper work for selected options to
purchasing, mortgage and operations. Communicate with subcontractors to
insure proper installations.
Carpet Barn-July 1990-July 1998
Started as designer and was promoted Assistant Manager, Senior Designer,
and Responsible for assisting manager with client related problems,
assisted with schedules and customer service between sub-contractors and
Carpet Barn. Assisted homebuyers in the selection of flooring and
countertops.
