Managed multiple instances of an in-house developed SQL Server database
application - OneSource. Application joined profiles of all PEMCO
companies' employees and contractors into one central location. Database
serves as input data source to many in-web applications to support multiple
companies.

V Analyzed and supported year 2000 date compliance conversion project on
PMSC system. Key responsibilities included analyzing and documenting
areas in CICS programs to convert - both in COBOL and Assembler.
Tested and implemented converted system.
V Developed and supported Employees Education Tracking system for PEMCO
HR using Visual Basic and Access database.
V Participated in developing first insurance system's PC project - Rate
Disk System - using Micro Focus Dialog System, Micro Focus COBOL and

V Participated in Contract Management System pilot project using CICS
and DB2.
V Installed, tested and enhanced the converted Alpha Cross Reference
System with extensive customization in record time. System served as
central depository information tracking system of all customer
information. The system was converted from CICS Assembler Macro Level
to CICS COBOL Command Level.
V Maintained and tuned a very complex set of I/O modules, written in
Assembler language, for the CICS system to access data in VSAM KSDS
and ESDS combination.
V Tuned weekly batch processing programs to reduce run time from seven
hours per run to just over two hours per run. Saved thousands of
dollars per month in processing costs and made data available to users
sooner each week.
V Enhanced and developed many utility programs for use by programming
staff.

Sr. CICS Programmer Analyst
Responsible for stabilizing the online CICS system after the implementation
of the manually rated system from PMSC.
Technical lead for a team of four developers and contractors to convert an
existing application from CICS Macro level programming to CICS Command
level programming.
Data Systems Technology Inc., Columbia, South Carolina
Consulting Analyst
Provided CICS consulting services to Westinghouse Electric Corporation,
Nuclear Fuel Division. Lead a team of five developers to automate the
chemical laboratory's data gathering and recording system using CICS and
DL/1.
Policy Management System Corporation (PMSC). (Now Computer Science

Lead CICS Programmer Analyst
Led a team of six developers to develop a very complex CICS insurance
system. PMSC sold this system to many large insurance companies worldwide.
