I have successfully delivered medium to large software development projects

in mainframe and client-server environments with budgets ranging from $250K

to over $5M. I have managed project teams of 15 to 25 team members which

included offshore developers, in-house developers, Business Experts,

Business Analysts, Testers, and outside Vendors. I have thorough knowledge

of SDLC and practical use software development methodologies.

July 2002 through January 2010

Provides a wide range of life insurance products, annuities, and mutual

funds and offers a variety of investments products and services to

individuals, businesses, pension plans; to more than half of the 100

largest companies as its clients.

Position Held: Senior Project Manager

Converted Licensing/Appointment data from legacy mainframe system to

client server application written in JAVA and hosted on Linux platform.

Project completed within approved budget of $5M.

Standardized License/Appointment Correspondences and improved delivery

time with deployment of an automated solution to schedule/retrieve

correspondence data from a SQL database and correspondence templates

stored in FileNet. Project completed within approved $250K budget.

Reduced delivery time of commission audits for commissions paid to PL

Producers with delivery of SQL reporting database to consolidate multiple

sources, and a web front-end developed in .Net

Disbursed $2,000,000 un-reconciled Commission Payments from Abeyance for

Producers who sell Pacific Life Division products and implemented the

controls to ensure Abeyance totals are consistently resolved and

disbursed monthly and prior to year-end close.

Achieved 99.9% consistency for network availability with implementation

of upgrades to primary network and providing a failover network in the

event the primary becomes dormant or is down.

Upgraded Remote Office severs to Window Servers to include replication

software to perform nightly backups to home office data center.

One of the nation's largest independent auto finance companies and holding

company for

WFS Bank specializing in originating, securitizing, and servicing new and

pre-owned prime and non-prime credit quality automobile contracts through

its nationwide network of 8,000 car dealers.

Position Held: Senior Project Manager

Evaluated and deployed throughout the WFS Bank branch network a vendor

solution for verification of accountholder signatures to reduce the risk

of forgery and fraudulent checks to the Bank for checks written in excess

of $1,500.

Reduced the manual labor required for Human Resources and company

Associates to perform annual Open Enrollment by implementing a vendor

supplied web-base solution for Company Associates to enter their Annual

Open Enrollment information directly into the Corporation's Ceridian HR

System.

American Savings Bank, Irvine, Ca.

February 1990 through July 1997

One of California's largest financial institutions with a network of

branch offices and ATM's throughout the state providing retail and

mortgage services.

Converted McCormick & Dodge AP, Fixed Assets, and GL to People Soft
