Accounts Payable and Job Cost Manager
• Enter invoices into accounting system on a daily basis; verifying entries tied to proper
general ledger accounts, as well as job cost codes and vendor subcontract payment
records.
• Balanced accounts payable listing to accounts receivable billing and wrote all
accounts payable checks at time of payment.
• Maintained records, entered information and set up invoices for eight to ten jobs per
year on projects with budgets of three million to thirty million.
• Set up all vendor subcontract records in computer system to correct job and
confirmed the entries tied back to the proper job cost code. Verified each change
order and insured payments were applied to the appropriate vendor account.
Reviewed any errors with project managers.
• Reviewed all vendor invoices with the correct project managers in regards to whether
all of the invoice was approved or not approved.
• Answer inquiries from vendors regarding payments and non-payment of items not
approved.
• Assist with auditor issues at year end, by pulling invoices, canceled checks and
running reports tying to year end totals.
• Work throughout the year establishing vendor information for year end form 1099.
• Checked to see that vendors have signed contracts, change orders, lien waivers, and
insurance up to date before processing payments.
Education:
Aberdeen School of Commerce, Aberdeen, South Dakota; Coursework in Finance and
Accounting.

Timberline Construction Accounting System, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
