As Director, Patrick is responsible for leading the BI & Analytics vision
of establishing a CPM (Corporate Performance Management) Reporting
capability (Dashboard, Scorecards) for the Carrier and Retail line of
business within the Organization. Today, he oversees and manages a team of
8 consultants endowed with the task and responsibility of delivering the
first set of Carrier Base Data Repository reporting with MS SQL 2005 AS and
RS reports where data are fed from a defined datawarehouse. A key part of
his portfolio is instilling IT to work closely in alignment with various
business units playing both as the technical and business liaison lead.
Patrick possesses the strong ability to translate business requirements
into IT business cases and project proposals. Patrick also leads the
Retail BPO (Business Process Owners) Committee working in partnership with
various business units to identify roles and responsibility while defining
data ownership and accountability for all of its data sources, publication
and usage. Patrick also recently took up leadership role chartering an
overall Retail wide LOB web portal re-design as part of a preparation for
the CPM initiative.

As Director, Patrick is currently leading a global project to establish a
strategic data governance program surrounding all master data elements
within the Company. This include working closely with the Finance and
Business units to drive requirements, standards and policy in establishing
Key Performance Indicators and Metrics to institute measurement rigor and
discipline so as to build accountability across the Organization. This
also includes upgrading the Organization's resource capability to be more
performance-based and results focused that include designing Business
Intelligence and Financial analytics datawarehousing competency.

As the technical architect, Patrick leads the initial requirements phase of
designing a Business Intelligence Financial Reporting project with a major
investment client. The final objective is to implement an integrated
financial management information platform within Corporate Finance
utilizing a centralized repository of data (Hyperion Planning & Essbase),
common transformation methodologies, hierarchy management process (Hyperion
FDM), best practices of strategic and analytical management reporting
(Systems 9 BI Analytics). This initiative will also allow the Organization
to define monthly and quarterly forecasting, budgeting reporting process
across 23 other business units. Patrick will also be leading the transition
team to assist the client in establishing an internal Competency Center
enabling it to provide the necessary and infrastructure and support
resources.

< Patrick heads up the Finance Business Intelligence Competency Center
(BICC) with a team of 6 business and technical analyst. The main core of
the function of the BICC is to provide and increase operational
reporting effectiveness and efficiency. Working closely with the
Internal IT Group, the BICC will deliver and provide all Information
Delivery reporting needs within a single defined portal vehicle with
reporting Dashboards and Scorecards.
< Currently he's working closely with the Bank's internal Technology &
Risk Management and Credit Risk Unit to ensure internal audit and
security compliance are carried out in a defined procedural manner. This
includes implementing SOXA users security, control measures, profile,
setup, administration, HO Reporting, AIM and BASEL II compliance.
< He's also working closing with the Information Delivery (ID) unit to
chart out its long term ID strategy and roadmap so as to provide
information reporting capability and functions to the Financial and
Commercial lines of business.
< Patrick served as the lead for the information portal delivery of the
BASELII Accord Project. He was actively involved in the design of the
Financial Risk Warehouse project that included all the internal and
external reporting deliverables starting from analysis and requirements
gathering to development, testing, UAT, pre-production and final roll
out that also extended to operational support using Business Objects and
Hyperion Essbase as reporting toolsets. A major portion of his
responsibilities included meeting with business users to define business
requirements across the ODS, ODW, HDW and DataMarts. He was a critical
member of FRW Warehouse development team conducting business analysis
related to 27 data sources and mapping them to the PeopleSoft EPM
tables. Patrick also worked closely with the Data Governance team to
ensure that all data are processed through the prescribed Metadata
Repository's structure and definition. A major portion of his
involvement is to assist the DG Team to establish a formal process to
define, administer, manage, implement and monitor various data governing
policies and procedures across several departments.
< Patrick served as a Datawarehouse Developer to the Commercial business
unit supporting a customer profitability measure module for commercial
loads, assets leasing and foreign exchange. A major portion of his
responsibilities included understanding the business requirements and
transforming these requirements into technological solutions in
measurable details.

Senior Project Manager
Patrick served as the business liaison for a Financial Investment
Corporation Datawarehouse initiative to design and implement a financial
strategic management reporting system. A major portion of his task was to
assist the financial information team in identifying and defining
information reporting requirements. These requirements were solidified
after iteration of think-tank sessions with various business units leaders
in conjunction with representatives from the Project Sponsors and the
Executive Steering Committee. Additionally, he was required to work closely
with business owners to ensure that the project meets budgetary
requirements and is in-line with the overall firm's IT strategic direction
and vision. This included various JAD sessions in the design and
development of data warehouses consisting of ETL, enterprise front-end tool
reporting, architecture and infrastructure development, testing and
deployment.

< Patrick also served as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) to Ernst & Young
strategic management reporting systems Project since March'99. Patrick
was the main point-of-contact for the Software Development Group with
various Business Units and Sponsors of the project. His SME
responsibilities included overall Project Management, Infrastructure
Design and Development, Production initiatives and Hyperion Essbase
Database Admin.
< Additionally, Patrick also served as a part-time Lead Analyst/Proj
Manager to a Fortune 500 Liquor bottling and distribution corporation
assisting them in defining a Business Intelligence financial reporting
system. His responsibilities also included overall Project Management,
Wide Area Network design, JAD session and management, Architectural
Design and Development. Various data modeling (Star Schema) sessions and
business processes reviews were conducted with the finance department to
ascertain data and information requirements. This resulted in a
prototype 10-dimension model cube built with Hyperion Analyzer as the
front-end tool.

Lead Project Manager
< Patrick assumed the role of a Project Manager, DBA and Application
Developer for Project TOPS. He was responsible for conducting a
feasibility study and establishing a Proof of Concept to build an
intranet solution to its current manual budgeting systems. Working
closely with the business owners of the finance department, his solution
involved architecturing and designing TOPS topology utilizing IE
Browsers with Excel 97 VBA on the front-end and IIServers, Essbase,
Microsoft Access 97 on the back-end. He was responsible for
conceptionalizing a solution, building a prototype and implementing TOPS
working across multiple departments such as the Finance, Network,
Deployment, Web Services and Support Divisions.
< Patrick also served as a part-time SME (Subject Matter Expert) to Ernst
& Young strategic management reporting systems Project. SME
responsibilities included daily project management activities, issues
resolution, BPRs (business process reviews), CSFs (Critical Success
Factors), change management, infrastructure design and development,
production and implementation initiatives. Also assumed the role of a
DBA and Application Developer for a Financial Account Profitability
Model and provided daily operational support and developmental work
ensuring the necessary connectivity to its FDDI backbone and other WAN
infrastructure.
< Patrick was the lead analyst responsible for the CBMS Financial
Reporting System that covered Financial Cost Control and SVA
(Shareholder Value Added) Reporting. The project also involved fine-
tuning and optimizing existing EssBase 4.0 Models (60 Models expanding
over 6 Solaris OS based Unix Servers) ranging from 3 gigs to 22 gig
sizes in nature. He was instrumental to provide mentorship guidance in
assisting the client to build internal EssBase infrastructure competency
within the system support team.

Worldwide Director
Patrick spearheaded a WAN network intranet (ORBIS) development project at
an international food and liquid packaging company based out of Lausanne,
Switzerland. The project involved creating an intranet that connected
multiple TP's European sites based in Geneva, Italy, Lund (Sweden), Belgium
and Darmstadt. He was working together with the CFO of the Plastics
Division to develop an EIS OLAP datamart within its datawarehousing
development efforts. He was the main business and IT liaison between the
various paper product packaging division heads in United States and Europe
to assist the CFO in successfully rolling out the international wide
Executive Information Systems. Patrick was also appointed by the CFO to be
the Project Lead for all of Plastics Divisions technological issues that
are related to its DARWIN datawarehouse project and financial reporting
cube across the firm's Chart of Accounts MAPICS and NERS (financial
accounting systems).

Senior Infrastructure & Development Manager
Was Project Manager for establishing Connectedhealth.Net (an Ernst & Young
subsidiary) headquarters in Nashville and managed the day-to-day activities
from inception to its completion including timely completion of
deliverables. He was responsible for all technological and logistical
design and installation of the site that included basic wiring closet
configuration to Wide Area Network (WAN) & Virtual Private Network (VPN)
connectivity including all aspects of data and systems recovery and its
Operational Center disaster recovery procedures.
Ernst & Young, LLP Jan. 1996 - Jan. 1997
MIS Manager, Infrastructure Network & Development
Was the MIS Manager with the Information Technology Group of Great Lakes
Management Consulting in the Ernst & Young Chicago office. He was
responsible for the network and developmental infrastructure of Ernst &
Young Advance Development Center (ADC) and Accelerated Solutions
Environment (ASE) where he managed a team of 12 staff who provided
operational support, configuration assistance and disaster recovery
approaches to rapid developmental projects. He was heavily involved in the
design of its WAN and VPN networks that spanned across a variety of E&Y
development centers and clients networks. In totality, the ADC and ASE are
technological frontiers of E&Y providing accelerated prototyping and rapid
development solutions established with the goal to meet its client's
business needs in a rapid fashion.
Tetra Pak Incorporation Sept. 1992 - Dec. 1995
MIS Manager
< Was responsible for a 6-member support team for a production facility
and its headquarters in Minneapolis and Buffalo Grove. He designed and
constructed a network topology that included 450 nodes of Macintosh,
PCs, Compaq ProLiant Servers, AS400, bridges and routers for these
locations. Patrick also designed a state-of-the-art video conferencing
theater using ISDN technology. His most significant contribution was the
design and implementation of an EIS system using Arbor Software's
Essbase OLAP software to the firm's executive management on the
Macintosh and Windows platform.
< Project led an AS400 based MAPICS (Mftg & Prod Inf. Control Sys) revival
initiative to fully maximize the software functionality and capability
to be an effective and efficient production tool. This resulted in an
accurate measurement and availability of production cost and inventory
statistics that were crucial to the firm's performance. The project
spanned over 1.6 years where MAPICS became a primary production and
management tool with a 98% accuracy level.
