2008-Current -416th Family Readiness Group Volunteer
Assists with implementing and
maintaining family support services for family members
separated from their military sponsor. Assists with
instructing/training related to Family Readiness issues.
Also assists with scheduling/coordinating briefings,
orientations and workshops regarding the Family Readiness
Program. Assist in coordinating with others to ensure all
families are reached and supported regardless of
geographical location. Help provide a connection to the
unit through which the 416th families get important
information, develop friendships, and receive moral
support. Assist in all family events in support of the OIF
for the 416th Theater Engineer Command. Serve as a vital
communications link between the deployed unit and family
members through activites that we set up to maintain
connectivity with the familes of the deployed soldiers in
the command.

inputting them into the POS register in a timely fashion
while maintaining a balanced drawer by the end of my shift.

Family Readiness Program. I also Plan programs to improve
quality of both duty and family life. Include planning and
development of family recognition programs and related
events. Identifies gaps in the system and designs and
recommend programs to solve these services gaps. Coordinate
volunteer service. I help to identify key volunteers at the
unit level to serve as volunteer coordinators. Develop
standard formats and procedures to collect data. Plan,
maintain and updates an ongoing system of information and
referral for use by the Army family. Assists subordinate
Commands in developing and maintaining local information
and referral programs. Provide technical assistance to
personnel publicizing quality of life and family programs.
Analyze social environment and impact of social policies
upon the Army family and provides community organization
services. Serve as a Command representative at conferences
and meetings on quality of life and family program matters.
Conducts briefings and training for Command staff and
units.
