SUMMARY: I have recently graduated with a Doctorate degree in Applied Math,

where the emphasis of my research was Mathematical Modeling/Computational

Math. I was fortunate to work on the Adaptive Hydrology Model (ADH), being

developed by the Army Corps of Engineers for surface/groundwater

simulations. Prior to my doctorate program I worked for several years in

the computer industry as a programmer, working primarily with C, C++ and

C#. Experiences include developing desktop/network/web applications as

well as database programs. I have also worked as an assistant professor,

teaching undergraduate math classes.

C++ Professional Experience

I have 10 experience using C++. Part of my doctorate research consisted of

modeling fluid flows in porous media. Simulations of my flow models were

written in C++. In addition, I performed research into conservative

finite element method simulations on behalf of the Army Corps of Engineers.

To test and verify my theories, I implement a one-dimensional version of

the three-dimensional code (Adaptive Hydrology), developed by the Army

Corps of Engineers for groundwater simulation. The duration of my research

for which I used C++ was 4 years.
