. Negotiated and implemented $1.5 billion in supplier agreements with a
documented 50% cost reduction vendor commitment over 5 years.
. Managed the annual materials spend budget of a public electric utility
in excess of $50 million dollars and capital construction projects of

of disputed change orders against plant construction project, avoiding
costly litigation.
. Implemented an ERP/MRP system to rapidly drive efficiencies in
production planning and procurement. Reduced transactional purchasing

international sourcing decisions. Results included a $450,000 savings

through the sourcing process by defining business needs, setting long term
business goals, and development of the sourcing strategy that fulfilled all
stakeholder requirements.
Public Services Company of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM December

Sourcing Manager
Responsible for all sourcing and contracting activity for the power
generation division of this public utility. Annual material and contracted
service spend in excess of $50M. Capital construction projects budgeted at
over $400M. Key contributions include; successful construction of a new
power plant and major environmental upgrade projects ($138M and $310M
respectively), and implementation of Strategic Sourcing process.

accomplishment was the implementation of an ERP/MRP system. Utilized e-
