Internship: Lenawee County Courthouse, Adrian, MI May 2009 – Sep 2009
Juvenile probation officer for Lenawee County. Handled up to fifteen juvenile cases, at
once, throughout the entire internship. Worked alone and independently to set up
meetings with the juvenile’s and parent’s. Maintained a professional work relationship
and frequent communication with police officers, judges, principals, and teachers to fully
understand each individual case. Used rehabilitation and mediation experience to
communicate with each individual and help them succeed. Complete responsibility for
each individual, along with their progress and punishment. Preparation and attention to
detail allowed for strong, confident, and effective decision making throughout the entire
internship. Experience and comfort ability in court settings, cases and trial process.
Puma Clothing and Apparel, Seasonal, Somerset Mall, Troy, MI Nov 2008 – Jan 2009
Worked as a shoe sale associate in a team setting. Responsible for quick knowledge and
familiarity with the shoe and clothing products. Was given a quota as my goal, for each
day of work. Never failed to meet the goal and quota that was set. Ability to communicate
with customers and their individual needs, when work was often in a fast-paced, hostile
environment, where multi-tasking was expected, and accomplished each day of work.
Maintaining patience and a positive attitude was extremely important.
