SimulationXp senior project : Targeting Carcinoembryonic
ress Antigen (CEA) Using Aptamers. The goal of the
project was to investigate the effectiveness of
aptamers (DNA ligands) in molecular recognition
by measuring the affinity to CEA in vitro. Two
aptamers were selected using SELEX, affinity was
measured using a fluorescent polarization binding
assay, and the dissociation constant was
calculated using DynaFit.

LabVIEW documentation : Created SOPS, BOMs, and lot
records for manufacturing and build
processes.
data analysis : Created software using Excel VBA
to calculate glucose levels from raw data.
Organized and lead weekly data review sessions
with top management.
testing : Involved in developing data acquisition
software using LabVIEW and SQL Server enabling
data to be written directly to a database.
Created a real-time data display using LabVIEW.
Designed, conducted, and analyzed sensor
performance and optimization experiments.
mechanical design & manufacturing : Developed a
method to fill a sensor cavity with glucose
oxidase in a vacuum. Designed, developed, and
installed a flow-through glucose testing system.
Designed an injection molding mask using
SolidWorks. Created and modified drawings of
sensor components in AutoCAD.
