BERGER/ABAM FEDERAL WAY, WA 98003 FEB 01 – NOV 09

SSA PT Terminal Tacoma, WA. 200 acre terminal planning project, responsibilities include project engineer,

drawings, cost estimate, specs, draft report, 1.6 MCY dredging, 1700 ft wharf, civil infrastructure, throughput,

gate parameterization, and permits. Coordinate with owner, consultants, oversee 3-5 engineers, drafter, and

answered to PM weekly. MAR 08 – MAR 09

BNSF Tacoma IMY Tacoma, WA. 100 acre terminal planning project, responsibilities include project engineer,

cost estimate, specs, draft report, 3000 LFT craneway, optimal cross section parameterization, civil infrastructure,

throughput, gate design, and permits. Coordinate with owner and oversee drafter and WP, worked closely with

PM. AUG 06, MAR 08, MAR 09

UH Grain Terminal Kalama, WA. Terminal modernization project, responsibilities include project engineer,

drawings, cost estimate, draft report, ship loader optimization, conveyor support foundations, bulkweighers,

cleaners, marine structures, mooring analysis, and permits. APR 08 – NOV 09

BNSF NSIG Seattle, WA. Terminal rehabilitation project, responsibilities include project engineer and resident

engineer; lead project from design thru bidding/award to completed construction. One mile of wide span gantry

crane foundation, terminal layout, cost estimate, specs, and drawings. Resident engineer duties include managing

7 contractors with 7 different contracts, as well as coordinating an owner’s declining budget and accelerating

schedule. FEB 06 – MAR 08

POT T3/4 Tacoma, WA. Designed rehabilitation of existing 150 acre terminal, expanded to 194 acre.

Responsibilities include storm system, asphalt, transtainer crane runways, gates/access roads, 200 ft wharf

extension; cost estimate, drawings, specs, basis of design, and permits. JUL 04 – FEB 06

Extensive experience in concrete construction inspection, hydrographic surveys, marine structure inspections and

1998, worked as a construction inspector for MI DOT, inspecting bridge painting, guardrail, and road projects.
