Recruited to build and lead brand from founder operated structure to VC-
owned independent franchise organization. Effectively reengineered critical
operating and sales processes and realigned staff to maximize brand
footprint and efficiencies. Increased shareholder value by 50%, Sales by
85% and new store locations by 90% during tenure.
* Restructured Sales and Marketing "go to market" strategy to drive
franchise unit sales in defined markets as created in correspondence
to strategic growth vision. Awarded over 475+ franchise agreements
from (2006-2009).
* Created and built proper infrastructure in a systematic process to
withstand and meet futuristic growth relating to units, sales and
cultural expectations and demands. Met EBITDA Budget for 2008 &

Vice President/General Manager Mid Atlantic & Central USA - East Brunswick,

Managed four regional VPs, three Directors and 400+ employees with $180+m
P&L.
Recruited to lead and turnaround Metro NY/NJ/PA divisions that were not
profitable and in the midst of losing sales and revenue streams of over 75%
of customer base. Created and built processes, procedures and team that
took the divisions to profitability in 18 month time frame. During tenure
at Millbrook, preserved $75m in annual sales revenues.
* Reversed declining profitability for Millbrook, yielding 35% annual
increase through cost reductions and implementation of operating
process controls and performance metrics that included; sales
training, route efficiencies, cost containment, transportation,
warehousing and human resources.
Designed and implemented strategic initiative to improve distribution
system for Millbrook. Established Cross Dock Delivery system with two
major customers to reverse principal sources of inefficiency.
Developed a rebate system to share cost savings with customers.
Reduced annual operating costs for Millbrook $690k after rebates.
Early Career Experience:
Manager of Corporate Procurement / Business Development Consultant, Ahold,
USA $58 Billion global food provider.
Direct responsibility for $300m private label domestic sales. Coordinated
US Foodservice sales force in identifying sales opportunities to Ahold
retail chains. During integration of USFS into Ahold USA businesses was
chosen as one of three individuals domestically, to participate in
transition to identify synergistic supply chain and process flow
opportunities reporting directly to CEO of Ahold USA.
