Quik Scout Technologies develops scouting, statistic, video editing and

presentation software for high school and college sports teams throughout

the US, Canada, Japan and Greece. Achievements at Quik Scout include:

. Maintained existing products designed with Visual Basic 6.0, Visual

Basic 2003 and the .NET Framework 1.1. These products were Video

Editing, Scouting and Presentation software used by many of the top

high school and college sports teams throughout the United States and

Canada on both the Windows and Macintosh platforms.

. Developed new products using Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic 2005, 2008

and .NET Framework versions 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5.

. Developed one of the first digital editing systems with Visual Basic

and XML that used DirectX and DV Video. The user could bring a video

file in captured from a firewire (IEEE-1394) source, edit the video,

create a new video file and/or send the video file back out to the

firewire source (camera or VCR).

. Developed systems for coaches and players that would allow them to

take video from any source including DVDs, Hard Drive Cameras, Mini DV

Cameras and VHS Tapes and record, rip or convert the video into a

common windows format so our software could understand and use it.

. Used C++ to develop the same system on the Apple platform.

. Used HTML, ASP.NET, PHP, Java, mySql and SQL Server to develop and

maintain the company website.

. Recently added to the website a section where customers can create an

account, log in, look at demo videos of software and register their

software after they purchase it. I used ASP.NET and SQL Server.

. Used Adobe Flash CS4 to create an interactive demo on the company

website that allowed users to log in, get information about the

software, hardware requirements and video clips on each part of the

different software packages available.

. Used Embedded Visual Basic to develop data collection programs for the

Pocket PC that can send the data to the desktop programs.

. Created Technical Documents and Design Documents for software that

included flow charts.

. Used Photoshop and Illustrator to create marketing tools that were

handed or emailed out to potential customers.

. Had a very good working relationship with the customers during tech

support, sales, installations and training.

. In charge of maintaining, debugging and updating current products by

talking directly to the customers and incorporating their ideas into

the software.

. Head of Tech Support and developed a very good relationship with

existing and new customers. During the four months of football season

(August - November), worked 6-7 days a week to make sure any coaches

who needed tech support on the weekends could get it.

. Also handled sales when needed. During the trade show time of the

year (January - April, July), traveled almost every weekend to

different trade shows throughout the country.
