Zimmer is a global leader in the development, manufacturing and marketing of orthopedic
reconstructive devices and related products.
Determines development needs and priorities for projects from user groups, promotes new business
initiatives for existing systems, and evaluates new systems and their integration strategies. Systems of
responsibility include JDE, DCS and SAP. Provides plant maintenance support through the monitoring
of XI interfaces and related requisitions and purchase orders.
Selected Achievements:
Accomplished end user training for MDM interface of newly created materials, BOM creation and
standard maintenance in SAP.
Designed and implemented all master data conversions. This included an understanding of existing
legacy systems and how information would convert into a new ERP system.
Assumed ownership of incomplete inventory conversion solutions. Worked with previous owners
and onsite consultants to generate accurate inventory conversions as provided by the legacy system.
Developed and incorporated a modification to an existing interface that allowed for automation,
discontinuing the need for manual intervention.

Identified market trends and product sales issues and examined competitive environment to form
strategic plans for product branding. Led the effort to initiate new product strategies in the form of

Expedited new hip implants and supporting instruments into the U.S. market. Associated tasks
