Monitored all Product Liability accounting reserves, and prepared the
quarterly book reviewed by outside auditor and SOX, manipulating data
within Excel to issue reports.
Coordinated Workers Compensation accounts, which included dealing with
and managing payments to state government agencies. Saved company
$140k yearly by successfully arguing against a state's risk profile
rate change.
Managed the Property Fixed Assets insurance renewal, and section of
Casualty renewal. Reviewed and approved the insurance clauses of
contracts. Oriented the claims manager.
Key liaison between Novartis and its insurance third-party
administrators, broker, and internal and outside attorneys, for
Product Liability, Auto Liability (covering a fleet of 6600 drivers),

reconciled accounts, and maintained fixed asset register (Gross Plant
$3Bil) in SAP. Prepared Excel spreadsheets to report data.
Led the implementation of partial-capitalization innovation, and
received the Novartis Business Excellence Award July, 2006, for the
Fixed Asset Project Close-Out Initiative.
Managed the off-shoring to India of the Fixed Assets function in 2007,
