. Taking cast or casting bronze models, including cutting, grinding,
bending, building up, polishing drilling and shaping the metal into
various forms for secondary models.
. Creating custom rubber molds, vulcanizing molds for secondary model
production; custom cutting and shaping of hot molds with channels and
vents to ensure smooth castings; where 4 to 30 identical models are
cut, ground, bent, drilled, built up, polished and shaped to fit
various items, including glassware, plates platters, bowls, pins,
pendants, charms, bracelets and necklaces.
. A custom production mold is created and vulcanized, cut and vented and
tested for production casting. Many have multi-applicable molds
created, and many have duplicates made to replace molds which burn out
with age and use. These processes use a variety of tools, from drill
presses to .5 mm (1/2 mm) dental tools and more specialized equipment.
