Summary 20 years experience in Accounting and Finance

including 10 years as an Oracle Technologist.

During my MBA studies in information technology

I learned relational databases and the Oracle

Technology Stack while data modeling for NASA on

the Space Station. Duties included installing,

configuring and maintaining Oracle Databases

from 7.X to 10G.

The past seven years I have been focusing on

data warehousing and have participated and lead

projects with over 1 Terabyte of data in size. I

have been responsible for development and

production of Oracle and Sql Server databases

and have participated and/or lead every phase of

the SDLC implementations of OLTP and Data

Warehousing projects.

My management experience includes developing

work breakdown structures, task timelines,

project schedules and mentoring project team

members as well as teaching students at UHCL in

relational database theory. While at the USDA

for Lockheed Martin I wrote the following

documents: Scope, Design Doc, Risk Assessment

Doc, ETL Design, Hardware Architecture. I lead

and designed the development instance of the

data warehouse with input from Source System

subject matter experts. I gave instruction to

install the 9i and 10G test application servers

and databases for this implementation of an ODS

for audit and historical purposes, and an EDW

for the data warehouse without Data Marts as

this was not needed for their reporting user

groups nor for performance reasons.

Wrote a stored procedure in Sql Server to delete

data entered by OR staff in error. Reverse

Engineered Sql Server Database creating several

ERD's. Recommended SDLC documentation be

instituted to mitigate risks and mentored staff

on Business Requirments Documentation, Technical

Specification and Design Documentation. Wrote

BRD, Technical Specs and Design Docs. Created

flowcharts of OR Nursing Processes as it related

to the PICIS system and related interfaces with

for USDA programs to integrate disease

Analyzed 5 source systems with hundreds of

normalized tables and thousands of data fields

representing Veterinary Services distributed

systems. Held meetings with upper management

and source system project managers to determine

the level of maturity of each system. Found

several systems deficient in audit tracking and

update/delete strategies non-existent. Designed

the data warehouse and created the ETL (over 100

mappings with several transformations per

mapping).

Installed 10G Application Server with server

admin and planned to develop Oracle Portal and

Discoverer Reporting for SME's and Disease

Management Personnel in Washington. ETL

development in OWB (Oracle Warehouse Builder 9i)

utilizing custom pl/sql transformations,

dimensions, cubes and analytic workspaces.

Installed OWB 10G and Discoverer 10G to start

upgrade from 9i. Started to transfer mappings

from 9i to 10G.

Performed DBA and ETL tasks on 1 Terabyte data

warehouse utilizing INFORMATICA 7x creating

queries to creat indexes for faster reporting
