also will give you some background information on myself. I am located in
Central Pennsylvania. I am looking for a career opportunity in Sales
Management based out of the East coast. To tell you a little about me, my
family and I moved to PA from California in November of 2004, because of
its family oriented atmosphere, and we have a lot of family on my wife's
side, and many cousins here that my boys are able to hang out with. They
absolutely love it here. There have been a lot of changes to get used to
from the weather, to the rural setting.
I have many years of sales experience, as well as Regional and National
Sales Management experience. I am very interested in a career opportunity
where I can grow with the company, make a difference, and to take my
territory and the company to the next level. I currently am the Eastern
RSM for Penn Globe. I am in the process of hiring reps throughout the
region. My job is to take a relatively unknown to the National spotlight,
featuring our LED product line. I have secured a 60k Job in State College,
and am close to closing a 300k plus job in upstate NY.
My experience in Management includes, introducing new products to the
field, training my representatives and co workers in all aspects of the
product, from marketing, to implementation to the technical aspects. I have
experience in hiring sales people, training them and keeping them motivated
in our product line, to ensure success. I am able to give convincing
articulate public presentations one on one, or in group settings. Products
that I have sold have been high end, so it has been necessary to sell based
on the features, functions and benefits of the product, as there were many
competitors with a much lower priced product. I have worked the trade show
circuit, from set up to tear down, to working the booth. I really enjoy
working trade shows, as well as all aspects of the sales process.
To keep sharp, I attend sales seminars such as Brian Tracy, and have
attended Professional Selling Skills, Core, and Professional Selling Skills
Applications training. In these classes, I learned how to implement selling
skills for different products, as well as specific to my products. I have
strong organizational skills, and communication skills both written and
oral. I like to take a solutions selling approach, and find out how my
company can be the solutions provider for the customer.
My goals are to work for a quality company with a good reputation, high end
product, and make it a long term career opportunity where I can grow, and
