Hello, and thank you for your consideration. I have attached my resume, and

also will give you some background information on myself. I am located in

Central Pennsylvania. I am looking for a career opportunity in Sales

Management based out of the East coast. To tell you a little about me, my

family and I moved to PA from California in November of 2004, because of

its family oriented atmosphere, and we have a lot of family on my wife's

side, and many cousins here that my boys are able to hang out with. They

absolutely love it here. There have been a lot of changes to get used to

from the weather, to the rural setting.

I have many years of sales experience, as well as Regional and National

Sales Management experience. I am very interested in a career opportunity

where I can grow with the company, make a difference, and to take my

territory and the company to the next level. I currently am the Eastern

RSM for Penn Globe. I am in the process of hiring reps throughout the

region. My job is to take a relatively unknown to the National spotlight,

featuring our LED product line. I have secured a 60k Job in State College,

and am close to closing a 300k plus job in upstate NY.

My experience in Management includes, introducing new products to the

field, training my representatives and co workers in all aspects of the

product, from marketing, to implementation to the technical aspects. I have

experience in hiring sales people, training them and keeping them motivated

in our product line, to ensure success. I am able to give convincing

articulate public presentations one on one, or in group settings. Products

that I have sold have been high end, so it has been necessary to sell based

on the features, functions and benefits of the product, as there were many

competitors with a much lower priced product. I have worked the trade show

circuit, from set up to tear down, to working the booth. I really enjoy

working trade shows, as well as all aspects of the sales process.

To keep sharp, I attend sales seminars such as Brian Tracy, and have

attended Professional Selling Skills, Core, and Professional Selling Skills

Applications training. In these classes, I learned how to implement selling

skills for different products, as well as specific to my products. I have

strong organizational skills, and communication skills both written and

oral. I like to take a solutions selling approach, and find out how my

company can be the solutions provider for the customer.

My goals are to work for a quality company with a good reputation, high end

product, and make it a long term career opportunity where I can grow, and

contribute for many years to come. If accepted for this position, I am able

to start immediately.

My job as RSM is to create a National presence in the

lighting industry, for a relatively unknown New England

lighting manufacturer. Interview and hire independent reps

throughout the region, work with them, train them calling

on Architects, Engineers, municipalities etc. A large focus

of my job, is promoting the new LED product line, which in

a short period of time I have secured some significant

business.

Call on 51 OEM and Distributor accounts in several states

in the USA

and Canada. Sell a wide array of LED products, including

exit and emergency products, as well as printed circuit

boards, (pcb's) HID, fluorescent, lamps, and indoor

products. In just a 4 month period of time, I have grown my

monthly sales from 200k to over 350k. I have also opened up

6 new accounts in that period of time.

Before our small division was eliminated, I sold lighting

controls under

The Nexlight name for Panasonic. We had a master

distributor based

out of Minnesota that I worked with. They went to market

by way of

specification sales.

2005- 2006

Magniflood Inc.

National Sales Manager

When working as NSM for Magniflood, I hired 29 new rep

agencies, taking a small manufacturing company from selling

direct in NYC only, to a National Rep network. Products

include outdoor lighting, as well as new LED technology.

2003 - 2004 Gardco Lighting

Regional Sales Manager/ National Sales Manager

Called on and managed a network of manufacturer

representatives

throughout the United States. Trained them on new product

introductions

and gave presentations to Architects, Engineering firms,

Contractors

and Owners. Frequently gave in depth presentations to

Specifiers

for specification into the commercial and industrial

market place. One

year ago, Gardco entered a joint marketing agreement with

LightGuard.

I was named the National Sales Manager for LightGuard, in

addition to

my Regional Sales Management duties. I was responsible for

growth that saw my territory reach 30 million in annual

sales volume.

Responsible for sales of specification grade landscape

lighting and

site and roadway lighting. Responsible for 25

manufacturers reps in

23 states, as well as 21 million dollars in annual sales

volume. Gave

in depth presentations on a regular basis to Architectural

agencies.

Sales rep and Sales Manager for a manufacturers rep

agency, calling on

Contractors, Electrical Distributors, Builders, and

Owners. Product lines

included Commercial and Industrial Lighting, Lamps,

insulation products. Territory covered the entire state of

California. Built the Lighting division from zero to 80k

per month in gross sales in a very short period of time.

sales by over 25% from when I

took over the territory in 1991. Attended many lamp

training seminars and gained a great deal of knowledge with

lamp technology.

Called on Electrical distributors, Contractors, Escos,

Builders and Utilities in the greater Northern California

market place. Territory was from Northern Nevada and

Redding, to Monterey and Central Valley.

Energy Services Auditor for residential, commercial and

industrial accounts. Analyzed energy consumption

patterns, then recommend energy saving measures and

practices. Analyzed lighting, hvac systems,

motors, refrigeration, and all aspects of their

manufacturing processes.

Strengths Highly skilled in indoor and outdoor lighting

applications, specifications and design. Have the ability

to pursued specifications and orders to my company by

selling the features and benefits in comparison to my

competitors products, without degrading the names of my

competitors.

My communication and letter writing skills are very

convincing, and have often times resulted in the

closing of large orders for my company, that

were going to go to my competition. An example of that is

a letter I wrote

to a contractor recently, that helped secure a 260k order

for my company.
