As a Sales Manager/Dept. Head my department broke every volume record,gross profit record and wholesale loss record. As a
Salesman I also broke the store record for total volume and total gross profit, including 4 months over $10,000 and 1 month at
$12,100.
As a Sales Manager my first year alone I increased my department volume by 28.8% (1801units).My second year I increased our
average gross profit by $200. Per car and decreased our wholesale losses from $590. Per car down to $90. Per car. Decreased our
back to front lot ratio(the time to get a fresh trade or recent buy set up for sale)from 2 weeks to 3.4 days.

Desk deals,close deals,appraise cars,conduct meetings,train salespeople and managers,hire and terminate employee’s,write and
administer employee evaluations,conduct one on one’s with salespeople each morning to evaluate working customers,work very
closely with finance to get weak deals bought, I also acted as the Finance Manager at Smitty’s and Howard Motors,initiate and
maintain a 75 day turn,instructed the buyer on what to buy,worked the auctions buying and selling inventory,handle all customer
complaints,work with internal team to set up cars for the lot including sublet,very good with problem solving(ask me about this,
it’s the reason for my overachieving),in charge of all my departmet numbers including creating and evaluating them,price
cars,reprice cars,merchandise the lot,manager lot people and title clerks,attend Dept. Head Meeting to present and explain last

My name is Todd Van Dreel and it’s been my priveledge to work in the car business for 22 years. I’ve
done new car sales, used car sales, new car sales manager, used car sales manager, and department
head(used car dept.).I am currently a co-owner of a successful used car lot in my home town. I have
achieved extraordinary success in all of these positions(please see resume).
I am moving south to escape the brutal winters of Wisconsin. I have been waiting and planning this move
for years waiting for my kids to graduate from school and get in college or until they get settled with their
own jobs and lives. My time is now! I am liquidating my remaining inventory and am half packed. I can
be in my new state down south within a week.
I am a very good Sales Manager and an even better Used C ar Sales Manager, able to control inventory
with minimum wholesale losses while maintaining a 60 day turn and fresh trades and recent buys set up
and on the lot within 3 days while juggling 3.2 million in inventory and selling 150 cars per month. I
work very well with salespeople (and other sales managers)with the ability to train and close their deals if
they can’t. My administrative work(paper work)is always on time and accurate and I have a unique
ability to study dept. numbers and find the solution to what ever we need (increase sales,gross
