To Whom It May Concern:
I am currently in the process of obtaining a job in the Atlanta area
and am specifically interested in secretarial jobs. I learned about this
opportunity through an Internet employment service. Because of my
education, work experience, and personal skills I believe that I possess
the ability to be an exceptional Receptionist.
In college I majored in Sociology with a concentration in
Interpersonal Counseling. The skills that I consequently developed enabled
me to become an effective communicator, equipped with exceptional customer
service skills. From 2002 through 2005, I volunteered for a non-profit
organization called Alzheimer's Family Services where I served as an office
assistant. During my college years, I started working at a Credit Union as
a bank teller. This experience allowed me to develop problem solving skills
and patience while serving customers. My aptitude for empathizing with
people of various backgrounds allowed me to tailor my services to the
satisfaction of individual members. I believe this position will allow me
to utilize the skills that I have gained from the combination of my
education and work experience. Therefore, I would be an excellent
candidate for this front office position.
I am attaching my resume in a Word document. I greatly appreciate the
opportunity to apply for this position and welcome the prospect of an
interview. My schedule is very flexible, and if you have any questions
please do not hesitate to call me at 850-***-****. Also, please let me
know if you need any additional information or references.
Sincerely,
