At Cluster Systems, I worked on both online and classroom based training.

The classroom training was for the Software Testing in the Real World

course. This training was specifically designed for quality assurance and

testing staff, system users and programmers with testing responsibility.

For the online training project, I converted existing PowerPoint slides to

a WBT. The client of this project wanted to train learners at every level

in their organization on the fundamentals of eLearning. This course focused

on the basic question, 'What is eLearning and what can it do for me?'

At ELMAQ, I created an instructor-led training for the Macromedia Flash 5 -

projects were designed on the ADDIE model. The content required to develop

the materials was collected from various sources such as the Internet and

the subject matter experts (SME). In the implementation phase, train-the-

Senior Instructional Designer

For Fremont Investment & Loan, I created a week long classroom training for

the newly hired Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) of their Retail

Banking division. The purpose of the training was to provide comprehensive

new hire training for CSRs to understand the basic structure, culture, and

operations of the Retail Banking division. Also, they were trained to

handle all customer transactions, such as creating a new account, making

deposits and withdrawals including all Teller posting functions, using the

Retail Banking division's systems - Branch Delivery Sales, Teller, and

AS400. All the content for this training was gathered from interacting with

SMEs at the various branches.

Senior Instructional Designer

I was involved in developing both classroom and online training solutions.

The instructor-led training was for a leading financial consultant. Their

prestigious Online Trading System web portal enables customers to perform

financial transactions from an integrated environment.

The Web-based tutorials were for training nurses on Ventilator-Associated

Pneumonia (VAP) and Pregnancy and Early Child Development. Scenario-based

learning used in these tutorials heightened the relevance of the content

and helped learners to apply the concepts in their day to day work.

I also created an online training for the Microsoft Excel 2003 course. For

this course, RoboDemo 5 was used to capture screen shots and create

interactive lessons or movies by adding images, captions, rollovers,

clickable areas, typing areas, and sound effects.

time examples and scenarios were provided to enhance the learner's
