DOmedia.com - Designed and wrote classes, added functionality and tests,
refactored code, generated SQL scripts, and fixed bugs in a Java web
marketplace. Worked with JSP, Struts 2, JavaScript, Tiles, POJOs, and
used Cayenne ORM to access MySQL database.
ECDI - Constructed completely redesigned website for ecdi.org, a non-
profit loan organization. Built web forms with JSP, Struts 2, and
JavaScript, connected to in-memory HSQL test database with JPA/Hibernate.
Called JAX-WS methods to transfer to and from third-party responsible for
persisting in legacy database, deployed application in JBoss and Tomcat,
and built with Maven 2.
Automated SEO project - Built Java system to perform SEO on dynamially
generated pages of large web sites. Used XML-RPC to retrieve data from
WordTracker, parsed HTML with CyberNeko, and tokenized with Lucene. Used
Spring Framework for DI and DAO templates, used JDBC with MySQL for
production database, HSQL for in-memory test database, and built with Maven
2.
