Integral in driving first pass yield increases in critical areas of the plant,
specifically the Control Box line from 88% to 98% and i2 Run Test from 87% to 92%.
Developed Excel spreadsheets used by management to calculate plant staffing
requirements for different production rates, greatly reducing the planning time
required for rate changes.
Designed and implemented new equipment focusing on increases in productivity,
quality and safety. Some examples are as follows: automated glue application,
quick test connections plant wide, and error proofing vision systems.
Trained in 6 Sigma, LEAN, 5S, and Ergonomic design and utilize them to reduce non
value added work and drive the plant safety level to a world class standing.
