hours and processed the paychecks.
Accounts Payable - Part Time Position

I did the data entry of all invoices received, code, assign pay dates,
and verified amounts to be paid. The controller would print the
checks and then I would assemble all for the mail and finish with the
filing. I worked on various office projects and answered a multi-line
phone system.
Notice of Furnishings Department & Accounts Payable Department
Theut Products, Inc., Romeo, Michigan
May 2001 - September 2002
I worked between two departments during the course of the day. In the
Notice of Furnishings Department, I would assist in calling various
townships to obtain the information needed for the notices. And type
envelopes and certified mail receipts for the day, then attach the
returned receipts to the appropriate letters and file them
accordingly. In the Accounts Payable Department, I would organize the
paperwork received from their seven locations, file away purchase
orders, check off the inventory received, and cross-reference the
aggregate. The invoices would then be coded and the data entry
completed. I was trained so that I was above to cover for each of
these persons in their department when they required time off.
