I formally worked for Chevron Richmond Refinery as a Unit Inspector in hydro

processing unit. This unit contains exchangers, separators, hydrocrackers, scrubbers, high

temp and high pressure equipment. My job was to ensure all code repairs were done per

code and all inspections were done per API 510 and API 570 code and to insure the on-

stream department UT readings are current and accurate. I also used Meredium and

Maximo as my reporting base for TML and inspection requirements are done.

I also performed UT thickness testing, UT corrosion mapping using A and B Scan

techniques. UT angle beam, UT long-range guided wave ultrsonics (GUL), and RT of

supports, clamped supports, wood supports and metal supports, coated pipe with bitumen coating,

plastic wrapping, and other types of coatings, all types of road xings, buried piping, and bell

holes, concrete lined pipe that was either buried or above ground. I was first certified as a GUL

operator in 2003 or 2004 to the SE-16 and re certified to the G-3 in 2007. I am current in the

latest software Guided Ultrasonics has provided. I was trained, have, and continue to work with

the best GUL operators in the world. I have also written procedures pertaining to GUL for a major

oil company. I also have sold GUL to major oil companies. I truly believe at this time GUL (long

anomalies. Also certified in UT IGSCC crack detection and Phased Array.

Training I provide:

Training beyond what was previous stated. I am currently developing my own NDE textbooks in

UT, RT, MT and PT. I have written and taught a corrosion specific course pertaining to signal
