is Kawneer’s largest, with 450 employees contributing $125M annual, producing custom
wall and window systems.
Alcoa Business System (ABS) Coordinator (2009 present)
An ABS resource advising location leadership in the use of lean tools to identify waste and devise
improvement strategies. Facilitated development of the location’s improvement A3 and the associated
operational strategies to reduce cost, reduce lead time, and improve quality and safety. Head of the
Environmental Steering Committee and member of the Ergonomic Committee.
Increased output and quality while reducing scrap by instituting a run to recipe process, including billet
planning, in the extrusion department achieving an annual savings of $650k.
Improved fabrication and material handling efficiencies by installing inventory controls between the
finishing and fabrication departments, resulting in an annual savings of $195k.
Increased wall cell fabrication total labor efficiency by 20% through a multi day cell design and 5S
kaizen event for a $360k annual savings.

An operations management internal consultant focused on driving financial results through the application
