. Structural Design:

o Industrial buildings, Energy/Power and Oil/Gas industry: Perform

engineering duties in planning, perform structural analysis, design

and provide details. Design of spread and pile foundations, Pipe

rack Flue gas ducts of complex geometry and support structure,

aircraft hanger and maintenance building.

. Construction:

o Provide on-site technical support. Resolve conflicts, provide

miscellaneous on-site structural design solutions and perform

structural audit on structures.

o Provide engineering, quality control for construction of highways,

concrete bridges, Airport Terminal, Sea port dock, Rerouting

utilities, foundations, Pre-cast plant, dams and pipelines.

. Project management:

o Oversee construction projects, manage schedule, cost and resources,

Review/approve submittals, and change orders. Prepare proposals.

o Liaise with statutory authorities, subcontractors and clients.

Coordinate and permitting and regulatory and environmental

compliance issues.

o Estimation, bid for site development projects $3-6 Million range.

flue gas ducts from Pre-Heater to Economizer for 400 0F temperature and

180 psf operating pressures. Prepared hand calculations and details for

fabrication, supports /restraints, modular joint connections. Review

design calculations and construction drawings.

(01/2008 - 02/2009) Foster Wheeler, Houston, TX. - Structural Engineer

. BP OCC Refinery Project, Indiana: Designed concrete pile foundations and

anchor bolts for vertical and horizontal vessels and exchangers. Analyzed

and designed pipe rack steel modules including connections and

foundations for various load conditions/scenarios including

fabrication/transportation (lifting, trailer transportation, sea forces,

seismic, wind) and stick build construction.

. Designed silencer supports for fired heaters and access platforms for

Jebel Ali Sea Port (UAE). Project Engineer- Oversee

Engineering/construction for retrofit to 2 Km quay wall- above and below

MSL, including structural repairs to large dia. pipe piles below water

level. Corrosion Control. Designed steel platforms jackets for concrete

repairs. Coordinated repair/concrete works with tides and shipping

schedules by ports authority. Coordinated installation of fenders, access

ladders and mooring bollards. Designed and supervised construction of

Gantry crane foundations.

Dubai International Airport (UAE). Project Engineer- Provided engineering,

quality control, planning and supervision of construction of Arrival

Terminal building and expansion of concrete Apron.

. In charge of Pre-Cast manufacturing plant. Provided engineering support

for construction of foundations and super structure.

. Analyzed, designed and provided engineering supervision of construction

of 130 meter twin Aircraft Hanger, multi story Office/warehouse building,

Victoria Concrete Arch Dam- Hydro Power - Sri Lanka. Section Engineer-

Designed formwork and prepared reinforcement drawings for in-situ and

precast concrete. Provided engineering, planning, quality control,

supervision and coordination of construction of 390 ft high arch dam and

spillway. Inspected formwork, rebar, chill water pipes and miscellaneous

items and poured concrete at 9,000 m3/week. Supervised installation of

instrumentation to monitor settlement and movements on the dam.

Rock-fill Dam- - Hydro Power - Sri Lanka. Section Engineer - In charge of

drilling and grouting of 150 feet deep grout curtain. Provided inspection

and Quality Control on earth core/rock-fill embankment construction.

Monitored soil testing. Performed Time study and analysis on 1.5 million cy

of rock excavation and embankment fill for the dam. Performed stability

analysis, flood routing, Freeboard estimation, river diversion proposals,

quantities for initial international bid, specification etc, for the dam.
