automotive, plumbing, and retail Tier 2 manufacturer. Generate daily
workflow for 50 assembly and packaging workcenters. Analyze sales and
usage data to determine the best avenue to pursue through LEAN initiatives
and JIT material flow. Champion various process improvement projects to
reduce on-hand inventories and increase on-time delivery. Plan and
schedule component parts for Mexico and China facilities.
Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Materials
Schneider Electric/Square D Company
Assumed lead role at $14 billion per year electrical component manufacturer
in establishing supply chain for new product implementation for NAOD. Set
up of all new component items in AMAPS system. Ensured supply chain was
established by establishing purchasing contracts and working with suppliers
to track deliveries. Coordinated with Materials group to establish KANBAN
quantities and identify rack locations in order to ensure a seamless
transition from old product to new product. Coordinated use up plan for
EOL materials to minimize/avoid obsolescence. Worked closely with
Production team to ensure that new products were scheduled for PPAP runs
and worked closely with inventory control to ensure that materials were
properly backflushed to the correct BOMs.
