Systems Manager HRIS- November 2007 to Present
Rite Aid Corporation
Management of all projects and development of HR and Payroll systems for
all corporate, distribution centers and 5000 stores in the US. Systems
include interfaces to General Ledger, Accounts Payable for Temporary Labor
force and Management reporting systems, accrual systems, Union compliance,
and PTO systems.. Management of in house staff of 10 and contractors in a
Mainframe, AS400 and Web enabled environment.

Project Manager - May 2007 to November 2007
High Mark Blue Cross Blue Shield - Contract Employee
Managed projects for web site redesign, special products for senior
products. Managing 6 projects for installation in the next release,
managing all project tasks and teams. Projects managed in a weak matrix
environment. All projects follow the PMI Discipline of Project Management
according to the PMBOK. The projects managed were PFFS/HHIC, HHIC Uncouple
and Carefirst. All projects completed Q/A Testing successfully, and were
ready for implementation into production in the next release.
Medical Mutual - Anatares. Cleveland, OH 44319 Contractor (February 2007 to
April 2007)
Currently managing a project to convert the Aldon Change Management System
to the Turnover Change Management System. This project includes the
migration of components from/into various environments including:
production, development, testing and promotion. Many different venders are
involved and, because of this, the mapping between the two systems cannot
be direct. Furthermore, there are many unknown factors in this project so
risk identification and risk response planning are a large element of the
total project plan.
Project Manager - (August 2001 to July 2006) Contract Employee
State of WV, PEIA, Charleston, WV.
Managed a project for the development of a new high risk insurance plan for
the State of West Virginia (Access WV). This system included Eligibility,
Billing and Dependent Coverage applications. Managed various other
projects to cleanup and improve the Public Employees Insurance Agency
Computer System. Developed new reporting that greatly improved the
agency's ability to track Medicare and Non-Medicare retirees. Developed
the necessary systems to allow for better tracking and administration of
Agency premium accounts and other pertinent aspects of the billing and
collection process. The Project Time Collection application was maintained
on a 3090 MVS System using TSO for project time entry and Telnet to other
Systems.
Project Manager - (January 2000 to July 2001)
Danly IEM, Cleveland, OH.
Managed the financial modules of the HFA Software package. Managed a
project to refine the Account Receivable cash system to apply cash two days
earlier. Managed a project to change the EDI system to serve several
locations at once. Developed a new Accounts Payable system to allow
Accounts to be managed by the location that created the invoice.
Project Lead - (July 1998 to December 1999)
IBS Consulting Services, Cleveland, OH
Project Lead at the Cleveland Board of Education. Was the lead on a
project to install a new student management system, which included a new
test score system. Also managed a project to convert all applications from
the IBM 3090 to the AS400 platform and developed a new lunch ticket system
to comply with federal guidelines.
Project Lead - (March 1996 to June 1998)
Cap Gemini America, Akron, OH
Consultant and Project Lead for a major tire manufacturer. Managed a
project to migrate all applications from the IBM 4381 platform to the AS400
platform. Conducted Joint Application Development meetings with users to
define the process to migrate the applications. Also was the project lead
to develop new Shop Floor Defect System.
Project Manager - (June 1989 to February 1996)
S. D. Myers, Inc, Tallmadge, OH.
Project Lead for all programming and systems development on the AS400.
Developed a sales contact system for the sales department and installed a
Plant Floor Bar Coding System for Inventory and Job Tracking.
