Performed the duties and responsibilities of the LST Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) for

of critical equipment shortages to support the rapid deployment of a 10k soldier force;

accountability of equipment laterally transferred from major commands through the
continental U.S. Designed and implemented an automated logistics status report which

for the largest JCS deployment of soldiers in Central America; responsible for the logistical
support of up to 44 units totaling more than 8,000 soldiers deployed for training in a low
intensity conflict area. Logistical Planner for - Fuertes Caminos 91; Ahuas Tara; building of
Mocora base camp; JGI participation.
November 1987 – October 1989 Senior Logistician, 2-43d (PATRIOT) Air Defense, 32d Air Defense
Command, Republic of Germany.
Senior Logistician - Responsible for unique air defense equipment valued in excess of 12 million dollars.
Supervised, trained, and mentored 16 supply soldiers, four (4) missile reload teams (32 soldiers), and
three (3) POL teams (six soldiers). Performed as the Safety Officer during an average of four monthly
missile reload operations. Maintained Class II/IV Expendable/durable document registers; Class II Pkg &
Bulk registers; Class V and VIII registers. Maintained Reports of Survey. Performed as the
organizational CSDP monitor. Conducted three evaluations quarterly. Developed, implemented, and
instructed supply specific training. Responsible for the rapid deployment, setup and operation of
PATRIOT missile RELOAD teams. Personally signed for 196 war reserve PATRIOT missiles.
First Sergeant – Responsible for the training, care, mentoring, and deployment of approximately 300
soldiers; and for the maintenance, coordination, deployment and utilization of 100 tactical vehicles.
