full life-cycle recruiting services to fill (exempt and non-exempt)
Clinical, Allied Health, Technical and Support positions. Assisted All
About Staffing as Interim Recruiter until regular position was filled.

Clinical and Allied Health Recruiter
Riverside Community Hospital (HCA), a 373-bed acute care hospital in
Riverside, CA. Provided full time, in-house, full life-cycle recruiting
services to fill (exempt and non-exempt) Clinical, Allied Health, Technical
and Support positions for all hospital departments to include Perioperative
Services, PACU, Cardiac Cath Lab, ED, ICU, CCU, Telemetry, Medical,
Surgical, Ortho, L&D, OB, Pediatrics, NICU (level II), ARU/TCU, Medical
Imaging, Pharmacy, Respiratory, PT/OT/SLP, Laboratory, IT&S, Human
Resources, Finance, Marketing/PR, Nutritional Services, Environmental
Services, and Facility Maintenance. Generated weekly position (Lawson)
report accounting for approved positions and posting. Managed 50+
requisitions. Worked closely with hiring directors to understand position
requirements for each department and to assist and advise on position
descriptions, interviewing and selection. Developed and maintained a
strategic recruiting plan establishing goals and objectives to include
college/university recruiting programs, developed and placed targeted ads,
attended professional/ community job fairs/events, and managed operating
and advertising budget. Identified prospective leads through referrals,
job fairs, school programs, targeted advertising, job boards, social
networks and cold calls. Pre-screened applications and scheduled best
qualified candidate interviews. Processed background/reference checks
verifying experience, license and certification requirements. Presented
contingent job offers, scheduled health screens, employment processing and
new hire orientation. Collaborated with Human Resources (compensation,
benefit administration, and employee health), Marketing/PR, Education, CEO,
CNO, advertising agencies (TMP, Bernard Hodes), college/university
educators and administrators, professional and community organizations.
Managed employee transfers, promotions and status changes. Proficient with
Applicant Tracking Software (Taleo, ICIMS), Lawson ERP and Microsoft Office
(Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Maintained knowledge of federal and
state labor laws to include The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements,
organizational policies and collective bargaining agreements (SEIU).
Contract ended when HCA Far West Division outsourced recruiting function to
another HCA affiliate, All About Staffing.
