Nursing leadership professional with a 22-year, highly diverse clinical and

leadership background covering surgical services, obstetrics and critical

care (including cardiovascular recovery) in organizations ranging from

small community hospitals to large teaching institutions from Maine to

Miami, Florida. Over 17 years in management and education. Experienced

choice. As key member of Surgical Services team, participated in

increasing hospital profits by several Service Line expansion projects

(OR, ENDO and Outpatient Treatment) with mostly Outpatient patient type.

Established Central Sterile Processing Committee to ensure conformity in

system standards across multi-hospital and capitalize on buying power of

. Facilitated new procedure programs such as Bariatrics, which is now a

Bariatrics "Center of Excellence." BARX and SPYglass for ENDO and new

infusion services for OutPatient Treatment.

. Initiated WHO Surgical Safety Checklist with continued 100% compliance in

. Manage McKesson Horizon Surgical Manager Project converting from manual

to automated administrative process.

North Shore Medical Center

. Participated and implemented the PHS/HSM McKesson software product for

Surgical Services.

. Developed and Implemented OR sterilization documentation and education

process.

Maria Parham Hospital

. Developed fetal monitoring program for orientation/competencies;

development of Level II Nursery.

. Established ongoing education program for neonatal nursing and caring for

sick neonates.

. Expanded QS product for computerized documentation for LDR patients,
