Involved directly with people and finding solutions to their problems and

requests in the green industry for the past 16 years and the prior 9 years

in the agriculture research industry. Possess a strong knowledge of

pesticide safety along with personnel safety programs. As a Director of

Safety at past positions I have achieved excellent safety records. Hold

multiple certifications pertaining to the green industry. Certified in

Best Management Practices and have been a long term advocate of IPM pest

control. Holder of Pesticide Commercial Applicators Certification, Health

Department Arthropod Certification for mosquito control, ISA Certified

Arborist # 0315 and FNGLA Certified Landscape Professional in plant care.

Possess a long and deep involvement in the green industry that has given me

Work History

Director of Grounds Maintenance, Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club, Naples,

Florida from 1998 to 2009.

Oversaw the maintenance of all common area landscape in a 300 acre

residential

community with approximately 450 dwellings and 1,000 residents, while

supervising an

assistant grounds superintendent, irrigation technician, mechanic and a

grounds maintenance crew of 12. Our annual maintenance budget was in

excess of 1MM. Eagle Creek has repeatedly won local and national awards

for beauty and maintenance of its grounds and common areas. Model homes

won repeatedly in awards from CBIA. During my first year as director, I

increased revenues by $40,000 annually and reduced labor and material costs

by establishing a plant nursery and green house onsite at the maintenance

facility.

Landscape Management Supervisor, Michael Todd, Inc., Naples, Florida

from 1994 to 1998

As a supervisor of maintenance contracts I was able to contribute to

Michael Todd becoming a $5MM dollar company in less than 5 years while

ultimately achieving this at a 24% profit. Responsible for quality and

profitability by establishing and adhering to budgets, job costing and

billing for maintenance and construction activities. Initiated work, budget

and sales goals in the second year of the company's existence. This

directly contributed to profits.

Prepared a master work schedule and crew assignments; assign the work to

the various crews on multiple job sites. Inspected work daily for

materials, progress, safety, cleanliness, quality of workmanship, and

conformance to plans, specifications, and codes; clarified interpretation

with relation to plans and specifications. Extensive customer service was

required with this position.

Farm Manager, Asgrow Seed Company, Naples Florida from 1989 to 1994

Supervised 4 full time employees; duties included planning, scheduling,

organizing and directing work for a vegetable research farm. Participated

in the planting, selection, harvesting, and seed extraction of trials.

Recommend applicants for employment, discipline, or retention. Purchased

materials, supplies, and operated and maintained equipment necessary to

carry out all phases of farming operations.

1984 to 1989

Participated in the planting, selection, harvesting, and seed extraction of

trials. Operated and maintained all facility equipment and oversaw the

farm move from Homestead, Florida to Naples, Florida. Performed all

necessary duties for the day to day operation of the experimental station.

Purchased materials, supplies, and operated and maintained equipment

necessary to carry out all phases of farming operations.
