Summary

National Account Manager with 12 years of experience serving the Wal-

The role encompassed all duties as required for sales,

presentations, data analysis and category adviser. Regular interaction

with various departments within Wal-Mart such as the buyers and their

assistants, order specialists, replenishment, modular planning,

marketing, procurement, purchasing and finance. Responsibilities

included buyer relations, managing inventory, replenishment solutions,

establishing and maintaining the business plan, marketing,

forecasting, troubleshooting, analytical research, drawing modulars

(ProSpace) and implementation with the WMT modular team and, of

course, report production and analysis.

10 years of award winning customer service at corporate

headquarters led to nearly 5 years of purchasing and inventory control

at a Coleman warehouse in NWA. Responsibilities there included

procurement of all supplies and inventory, inventory control, reducing

shrink and improving cross-functions and flow within the warehouse.

Also assisted in the shipping and accounting departments as needed.

The next step up was to join the WMT team in 1999 where

responsibilities began as office manager/ pos analyst but soon

transitioned to included all sales responsibilities, replenishment,

presentations, analytical data and category management for the

regional, walmart.com and samsclub.com buyers for sporting goods.

Additional duties included serving as event coordinator for our

frequent 'account specific' activities in conjunction with Wal-Mart.

These events ranged from store-specific outings to hosting fishing

tournaments for the CMN to shareholder events.

Points of pride:

. increase of sales margin % from 25% in 2007 to 41% in 2009 for

the company which increased the margin dollars a total of 54%

over the past two years.

. although the company had lost approximately 1200 stores to other

suppliers due to service and buyer relations in prior years, all

stores have been restored and are now traited for Lehigh cordage

products in hardware.

. elimination of the competition and full ownership of the catfish

twine shelf in sporting goods.

. earned category captainship in hardware.

. established the walmart.com presence for Coleman and grew the

business from $0 to over $5M in 3 years.
