Duties and Responsibilities: Elevated sensor, EO/IR cam systems, mobile

eagle eye and aerostate system platform repair certified. Repair, modify,

align, and calibrate VOSS gyrocam optical camera system. Troubleshoot to

all board level and LRU components. Total breakdown of gyrocam gimbals,

harness repair and perform all testing to assess system operation. Perform

IR, color and night vision camera replacement, boresight calibration, lens

alignment, laser height calibration, back focus alignment and system

configuration. Repair total system of IFU, hand control unit (CCU), wiring

component of robotic controller assemblies, IR and video cameras, and

motors. Replace servos, wire bundles as needed, repined connectors. Test

robots for proper video signaling, repair and calibrate transmitters and

receivers, point-to-point/point-to-multipoint radios. Repaired and

calibrated robotic mechanical arms, hand controllers, servo assemblies,

(09/1989-12/2000), Primary responsibility was to ensure timely turn-around

of scheduled and unscheduled test equipment submitted to the laboratory. As

a senior technician, perform level IV calibration and repair down to the

component on RF signal generators, microwave test sets,

transmitter/receivers, TACAN, AC/DC, digital electronics, pneumatics

standards, wave digitizing systems. Troubleshoot equipment through

isolation of faulty areas verifying voltage/current, signal waveforms, i.e.

Remove malfunctioned component using proper extracting technique and

replace. Test for proper operations. Certified equipment specs using

proper quality assurance directives.

Supervised eleven (11) technicians. Responsible for daily production and

quality of work produced through monitoring of technician work log/backlog,

assigning/reassigning work tasks and performing as a senior technician in

the areas of RF signal generation, microwave, pressure, metering section

and radar. Component level repair on all authorized test equipment through

troubleshooting analysis and use of spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal

generators and all general TMDE equipment.

trained junior personnel in proper diagnostic techniques. Aligned,

inspected, troubleshoot and repair RF, microwave and general test equipment

to component level. Desolder/solder repair parts.

Electronics Equipment Specialist (PMEL), U.S.A.F. (05/1983-12/1986),

Troubleshot and repaired numerous type electronics equipment and test set.

Specific areas in microwave, RF, automated test systems, radar systems,

analog/digital equipment and common test equipment. Supervised personnel

upon achieving appropriate rank. Performed field engineer duties throughout

assignment enlistment. Full diagnostic using schematics, flow diagrams

requiring the use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, and

soldering. Repaired to component.
