CAREER SUMMARY

9 years of experience in the worker's compensation industry immediately following earning a

bachelor's degree from Ohio State. Starting out as a Self Insured Claims Adjuster, I was

promoted to Unit Supervisor within 5 years. After two years as a supervisor, I was then promoted

to Account Executive.

Manage a dedicated self-insured account. Consistently exceeding company standards for

internal auditing. Maintain contact with all parties associated with claims.

Executive, 2008 - 2009

Responsible for client services for a client base allover Ohio as well as some national accounts.

Client satisfaction, audits, periodic claim reviews, settlements, and contracts are just some of the

aspects of this position.

2006 - 2008

Managed a team of Claim Adjusters and Team Assistants. Responsible for the interviewing and

hiring of employees, disciplinary actions, coordination of work flow, liaison between the Account

Executives and Claim Adjusters, and other duties as required to keep the unit working

successfully.

Frank Gates Service Company, Dublin, Ohio Self Insured Claims

Adjuster, 2001 - 2006

Day to day management of self insured claims. This included: both medical and indemnity

claims, issuing compensation checks timely, reserving, meeting time sensitive deadlines for

each claim, preparing claims for hearing, and any other task to ensure proper handling of claims

in a timely manner.
