o Pioneered revolutionary new search engine interface comparable to

Central Depot Manager

Managed all leased computer systems for North American operation ($55M

budget, 3 direct reports) of multibillion-dollar Top Five accounting firm

with global client base. Negotiated vendor maintenance contracts, developed

and monitored budget, chaired strategic initiatives, and led process

oversight team.

o Reduced hardware delivery and installation turnaround time from 7 to 3

days by coordinating intranet ordering system development through

third-party programmer. Product became fully operational-from

conceptualization, development, testing, acceptance, and deployment-

within 6 month timeframe.

Recruited to renovate technology infrastructure for servers, operating

Began as Senior Industrial Engineer, progressed through PC Systems

Support/Programmer to IT Systems Administrator positions, managing $8M IT

budget with 33 direct reports at 3 plant locations for this $800M producer

of glass table products.

o Warehouse Mechanization: Analyzed product workflow, identifying

inefficiencies and excess costs in production, quality control, and

warehouse areas. Eliminated excess paperwork, lowered maintenance

costs, and reduced number of personnel needed by automating order

processing and implementing new bar coding system.

o New Product Development: Managed project to assemble Libbey's first

website, coordinating website components between sales, marketing, and

project team. Defined current processes, identified existing

bottlenecks, and proposed alternative solutions.

o Production Forecasting Accuracy: Reduced delays and increased accuracy

of projected sales, capacity, and raw material sourcing by developing

multi-spreadsheet trend analysis program from all 4 production

facilities using rolling 3-year sales history, actual production

figures, inventory levels, required materials, and sales forecasts.

o Telephone Efficiencies: Saved $750K annually after renegotiating

contract with phone provider.
