A heavy equipment manufacturer for agriculture and construction, with
transmission manufacturing and final tractor assembly facilities.
Quality Manager
Functioned as primary Quality Leader in the plant for all machining,
assembly, supplier, and final product processes and procedures. Maintained
ISO 9000-2000 Certification and the Quality Management System.
o Reduced assembly Takt time by 22 minutes, errors by 85% and 2 Union
positions by spearheading the mistake-proof development of an RFID and
wireless gauging system for bearing setting of the most complex gear
and clutch assembly in the plant.
o Improved Cpk of Key Critical Characteristics from 0.92 to 1.68by
leading the successful Six Sigma project for verification of torque
inspections.
o Achieved 40% reduction in Warranty Claims 6 months after directing and
launching a project that improved training and designed leak test
