2 As Field Engineer Representative of FONAR Corp for Upright MRI machines
in AL, FL, LA, and TX
Diagnosed faults from heat exchanger pumps, compressors, motor controllers,
RF transmitters, regulators, power amplifiers, transmitters, coaxial and
fiber optic cables, solder joints, filters, VPN's, relays, switches, DAC's,
power supplies, battery backups, digital storage, data backup, gear boxes,
among others.
Completed updates and documents of MRI machines according to FDA and ISO
9001 standard requirements.
Negotiated service contracts with new machines after manufacturer's
warranty expired.
Sold product upgrades as they became available to increase productivity of
MRI machines.
Administered Windows servers that controlled and unified the separate
systems of MRI machines.
Trained customers on software upgrades and product modifications.
Set up remote access to servers and web viewer for tech support and
clients.
Identified software issues and notified and assisted software development
to correct them.
Used DVMs, calculators, oscilloscopes, and power quality analyzers to
identify and correct problems.

Set up 20-45 Station Computer rooms to assist doctors and scientists with
PowerPoint presentations.
Assisted convention presenters in verifying PowerPoint presentations were
compatible with current PowerPoint.

Updated Electronics lab to Interface oscilloscopes, meters, and function
generators to a Pentium III computer using TCP/IP Tektronix Pod and GPIB
interface cards enabling data logging of lab experiments and student
projects.
Calibrated multimeters, function generators, and oscilloscopes for two 12

Updated, maintained, and managed the Microprocessor lab and the Analog,
Digital, and Process Controls labs' computers and software
